Doc and Leonardo are leaders of the Asbury Clown Ministry Group at Asbury United Methodist Church in Madison, Wisconsin. Doc was an instructor at the Clown Impact National Clown Ministry Conference and Doc, Leonardo and others form the Asbury Clown Ministry Group performed at the closing performance at the Clown Impact Conference.
The Asbury Clown Ministry group's activities include performing skits and longer programs for church services at Asbury and other churches, visiting nursing homes and hospitals, and entertaining at a variety of church functions. We meet on Sunday evenings at Asbury during the school year to work on our clown skills and to prepare liturgical programs.
Each fall we host a regional clown ministry workshop at Asbury targeting beginning clowns.
